Visit Gothenburg

In short I'm an IT-manager by profession but like many others I have my off-work passions as well. Apart from Sports two of my interests are travelling and the history of Gothenburg. Whilst on my travels I've always enjoyed personal guides with strong local connections more than the mainstream guides. That is also the background to why I set up this little project.

 

I don't plan to do it full time, but to be able to tell tourists about the gem that is Gothenburg is something that I would like to take the opportunity to do. Gothenburg is so much more than the changing inner city and the emergence of a new town. The history behind the town and is changing aspect is something that you just get from someone who's been a part of the history. Even though I presently work as an IT-manager my educational is a grand mix of history, philosophy and linguistics. Apart from my fluid english I can also have a wee chit-chat in german, and to some extent also in spanish.
